Spring & Fall Cleanup

Family members should remove their personal items prior to the Spring & Fall Clean-up.

Clean-up occurs each May and October.  All items must be removed from every grave in the cemetery:  artificial flowers, ornaments, solar lights, plant hooks, stuffed animals, etc., must be cleaned off.  Only headstones should remain.  

The annual spring clean-up at the S-G Cemetery normally occurs each May 1 to 10.  Clean-up is necessary to prepare for the visitor traffic that traditionally occurs around Mother’s Day weekend.

The annual fall clean-up at the S-G Cemetery normally occurs each October 1 – 10.  Clean-up is necessary to prepare for the winter season and to reduce debris blowing around.  Any items remaining will be considered abandoned, and surrendered to the Cemetery; and will be removed and disposed at the discretion of the Cemetery Board/Staff.
