Do fences require a permit?
In some circumstances, a Development Permit may be required for a fence, depending on its location, height, and zoning requirements.

To ensure this is done correctly, the following is needed to build a fence in the urban area of the Municipality of Souris-Glenwood:
- A development permit (Keystone Planning District will indicate if any information other than a survey certificate is required to obtain your permit.)
- A survey certificate showing the corner pegs on the lot.
