Construction Work starting on 7th Ave. West Bridge

🌉 CREEK BRIDGE UPDATE

The Municipality is pleased to advise residents that repair work has been awarded for the Creek Bridge, which has been closed to traffic due to structural concerns.  Thankfully, we get to spend some money from DFA and the wait was worth it to help the municipality with the cost of these repairs.

The upcoming work will provide interim stabilization and repairs to the bridge, allowing us to safely extend its service through to a planned full rehabilitation.

🔨 Anticipated construction period:
📅 September 28 – October 9, 2026

During this time, the bridge will remain closed while the work is completed.

Following completion, the bridge will be subject to engineering approval and a final inspection. Once these requirements have been satisfied and the bridge is deemed safe for use, it will be re-opened to traffic.

We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding while this important work is completed. We recognize the closure has caused inconvenience and are working to get the bridge safely back in service as soon as possible.
