Road Closure and Special Event Application

Use this form to request approval for a temporary road, lane, sidewalk, or parking closure within the Municipality of Souris-Glenwood, or to host an event that may affect municipal roads or public spaces.

Please provide as much information as possible to assist with the review of your request. Depending on the nature of the application, additional information or documentation may be required before approval can be granted.

Applications should be submitted well in advance of the proposed closure or event date to allow sufficient time for review and any necessary coordination with municipal staff or external agencies.

Municipal Traffic Control Devices:

Provision of municipal traffic control devices is dependent on availability and not guaranteed and will require a lead time of a minimum of 5 working days.

If municipal barricades, signs, cones, or other traffic control devices are provided for your event or road closure, they must be returned to the Municipality in good condition by the next regular working day following the event or completion of the work.
