President: Julia Teichroeb
Julia Teichroeb assumed the role of President following her election during the Souris Glenwood Chamber of Commerce's annual general meeting in 2024. With a robust background in organizational leadership and business management, Julia brings invaluable experience to her position. She has previously overseen boards for large-scale organizations boasting memberships exceeding 1200 individuals and has successfully opened two businesses over the course of her career, as well as being a business consultant and an Instructor at ACC.
Coming from the Westman area, Julia is deeply rooted in the local business community and possesses over a decade of hands-on experience in various sectors. Her familial ties to Souris further underscore her commitment to the region's prosperity. Julia's grandparents, Bruce and Janet Clevett of Clevett's Appliance Repair, were longstanding residents of Souris, actively participating in both the chamber and the wider community. Bruce continues to reside in Souris, further connecting Julia to the area's heritage and values.
